On Monday Shawano's Rotary Club hosted a joint area meeting with Clintonville with Steve Handrick our District Governor
Among the Topics of of Steve Handrick's speech were the future of the 6220 district, his goals for his term along with his hopes of making it easier for future district leadership to be involved at higher levels while being fully employed. In the past many leadership roles were filled by retired professionals but recently we are seeings a need for younger professionals in leadership roles. Steve hopes to, among other aspects of the role, make visiting all clubs easier buy combining visits with several clubs known as "areas" which was tested with Shawano and Clintonville on Monday evening.
